The shop is quite big and is not only a wine supplier. The wine section is, however, separated from the rest of the shop, very well laid out and makes browsing a pleasant pasttime. The owners are quite prepared to offer advice or assistance if asked but are also prepared to let you do your own thing. They carry quite a large selection of local wines as well as a large selection of French wines. The port and brandy selection is also quite impressive
The prices seemed to be quite reasonable - mostly pretty much the same as in Johannesburg but lower in some instances.
There are two minor problems with this shop. First, it is in "down-town" Springs and the one-way system is not that easy to figure out. Second, it is near a construction site and this means that parking is even more limited than it would be otherwise. Neither of these should be a deterent if you are a keen wine-buyer.
There seems to be informal tastings most Saturday mornings. I have also on occasion been given a fairly reasonable discount when buying wines for a wine club tasting.
